Broken wind-washer container from extreme cold
So the last few weeks its been blistering cold and i dont have a garage to put my car in during the night. At we had highs in the -10's and at night we were seeing easly -30 or more and i had had some problems with my windshield washer fluid not coming out a ton or it felt like it was gone in a day insted of lasting for a week or two like normal. But the other day when i filled it to the top and i used it a few times during the day but then parked it in a lot at night, when i came out to get my car at 7am there was a nice frozen blue line that had dripped out and spread a good 2 feet infront of my car. There is still frozen blue ice that i see under my car.
Now again with the recent snow and cold weather i have been out doing donuts and so forth in parking lots but with my under car pannel there is no way that a stick or something could poke up there and damnage it so im guessing with the exterme cold, the washer fluid froze and expanded and prob cracked the container and now it doesnt hold any fluid ? (would that be your guess ?)
Can someone direct me to an answer or direct me to a site where i can order a new A4 washer container.
Thanks.

I used the blue stuff, its rated at like -25F or more. But i took it in this morning to one of the shops b/c the guy thought i might be one of the O rings thats around a pump connect to it the container. But no leaking there, but once he put in some fluid.... about 2min later there was blue leaking from under my car. It must of cracked or something but i have no idea without checking... and that involves jacking my car up, removing the wheel, and the fender liner (which i dont know how to do) and then seeing if there is a hole or something in the container.
Does anyone have a link thats step by step on how to remove the washer container ??

my car had the light on for need of more windsheild washer fluid, i filled it up today but it still doesnot squart, why isnt it squarting ? it cannot be frozen because the fluid isnot spossed to freeeze... i hear the pump trying to pump the fluid but nothing is coming out
Sp33 ... i would suggest taking a pin and cleaning out the sprayer holes on your hood. Those might be frozen. If not then check my problem and maybe its the same. Its a hole or something in your washer container.

my suggestion is to use the orange stuff, which is rated to -34 degrees and is a de icer
