Default Brushed aluminum mirrors

I have always loved the look of the Brushed aluminum mirrors on a black car but i have never seen it on a silver a4. I have been wanting to convert to brushed aluminum but i have a silver a4 and i dont know how it would look( too much silver, no negative shades). Anyone have this done that i could see some pics? I know Jest has his done and i love his. I also searched and i couldnt find anyhitng about brushed aluminum mirrors on gofast.de

I know exactly what you mean about the negative shades. I have the same problem looking at body kits for my black A4. They don't have the same effect as other colors because its all black. But in regards to the mirrors, its all personal preference. I haven't seen silver with those mirrors yet, but you can always photoshop your car in paint and just place the brushed aluminum mirrors on top of your car to check color.

if you have a lot of aluminum trim it should look good,if you have painted trim,it will not match and does'nt look good.

you won't even be able to notice a difference, it's not worth it...the silver paint and the brushed aluminum are too similar in color

I bought mine off of Ebay from this guy. Very fast shipping, he also has brushed or matte finish ones.

LLtek.com also sells them but their customer service is horrid.

The only reason that looks ok to me is because its a 2.8 and has the silver window trim... I dont think it would look right on a 1.8t with black trim.. Thats why so many people paint their girlles and debadge on 1.8t.
