So time ran out on me to fix my car. I have to leave it in Colorado while I go to college for a bit. I’m having a new clutch installed, light weight flywheel, smaller fuel injectors (440cc) and a larger MAF (VR6). Now the problem comes in to what chip needs to be installed. I had the Apexi AFC removed because it was just causing more problem then it was worth. So I need something to control the fuel. I am running so rich that on start up I char the ground below the exhaust pipe black. I have kicked around the idea of a stand alone ecu but if something goes wrong I’m a long ways from anyone who will know what to do to fix it. My second option was to get a GIAC chip that fits a t3/t4 turbo, but there’s another problem, the turbo I have flows a lot more air then a "normal" t3t4. So I am stuck on what to do and bummed out that I won’t be able to show my car off at college for a while.
