i am thinking of purchasing a 98 a4 2.8 quattro with 81 000 km on it just wondering if there is anything i should specificly check for or should know about before buying one. oh they are askimg 13500 cad.

It is like 60000 miles, right??? Well ask for all the maintance performed on this car, i would also check on carfax.com

timing belt and good maintenance is all i would be worried about.

that ammount of miles is really good for the year. i don't know what canadian money is compared to america, so you'll have to enlighten me. timing belt will need to be changed by 60-70,000 miles (don't know what that is in km).

 

Believe it or not nowadays the canadian dollar is worth alittle more than the american dollar...No joke.

 

Then I guess you're better off buying a car in the U.S. with Canadian Dollars, aren't you?
