Quattro is a must, trust me i've had both. The BOSE stereo isn't all that great at all, you're better off replacing it.

The autotrader car at the top isn't that great of a deal. It has too many miles imo.

It's the only quattro within a 300 mile radius of San antonio...I negotiated 9500.

I had the silver quattro checked out and it had the following problems:

Airbag, ABS, Brake light are all on, oil light is flashing, CV boots are torn, power steering resevoir is leaking, no
communication between the OBDII port and the ECU.

I don't think i am going to buy that one. I will probably have to go with the 1.8T fwd because its the only one I can find for under 10K.
I found a 2000 A4 quattro for 15500 with only 68K on it but its too expensive for me right now. I DONT WANT FWD!!!!![:@]

Im currently in the same Dilemmea as you, Nightstalker. Looking for a 99, 00' Audi doesnt seem like it should be a problem, but these cars have some obvious problems with them. Makes me want to shell out the cash and get a 03' or something. I wish these cars were as reliable as my little Acura.

Patience. Honestly, if you buy the FWD you will hate the car, you will always want Quattro. I don't see what the rush is. This kid pushing you for the 240? Tell him to go fu*k himself of find you a god damn replacement.
Hold out, buy the quattro. Do NOT buy the 2.8. Judging by your posts, you will not be happy with this car at all. The modding capabilities are similar to my rollerblades.

Let's think about this for a moment shall we?
FWD powers 2 wheels, Quattro powers 4 wheels.
What the hell do you think?
This one is chalked up as yet another retarded post Panzer, seriously, you're running like 97% here

if you were capable of reading you would see that i qualified my question with the word "much". why are you such an incessant immature little boy? grow up. are you mad? did your mommy not tuck you in? if you wantedto be helpful, perhaps you could explain the speed and power loss difference .

I did answer your question of 'much'. You seriously need to think about it. Run the 0-60 times on both cars and get back to me.
If you've read this forum at all, you'd know how well the quattro pulls from a dig. A question like this from someone with >30 posts would still be ignorant. But someone around as long as you? C'mon.
Yes, there is a big differenece. The cars are basically two different beasts. But, as the cars are modded more and more, wheelspin becomes a factor, and the Quattro does have potential to get better launches than the FWD.
Research and logic.
I did the logic, now do the research.
