Buying an A4- General buying procedure question
As i'm gearing up to check out some A4s i realized that the ideal situation would be to somehow take the potential car to a mechanic and have them give it a general inspection. I also realize that it may be difficult to, without actually buying the car, take it to get it looked at. I'm looking to hear from some experience about how you might go about this or is it reasonable/smartto ask them to get it inspected and then you'll take a look. Other than that i'm familiar with most things to look for as i have been a member of this forum (not an owner yet[sm=headbang.gif]) for a while. Appreciate the help, yes i know it's semi-off topic
I would def ask the seller for you to bring it to your mechanic and have it checked out, if the guy won't let u take it then ask if he wants to go with you to the mechanic. If he just doesnt let you i wouldnt buy it, because you wont know the full extent or its problems if there are any.
