where u at?? a friend of mine is selling a 97 1.8t with 130k with body kit and a bunch off stuuf for 5,500..... dont buy that car...i bought my 97 with 92k loaded for 6900k

Ok if he offers me 5,000 for it, then should i do it? 50k left on T-belt, suspension recall taken care of, $1700 due in a little for a new clutch one that thing breaks.

 

Well, they have it priced about book, but why pay book?

I would try and get the car for around 5k, knowing the clutch is original.

If they come down, you get a deal and have $$ to fix clutch, Otherwise, keep looking.

Right now is a good time to bargain with them, as it is the end of the month.
