buzzing coming from the dash
I have a 2000 a4 1.8tqm and there is a weird buzzing noise coming from the dash when i drive and i think but i am not for sure i think it is coming from near the climate control any ideas
When its buzzing try turning on the turn signals, if it goes away its probably your flasher switch.
If its not an electrical buzz try banging on your dash board and pin point it that way.

I have the buzz stated above^...when I turn on hazards/turn signals it stops, can my flasher switch be swapped/replaced?....I can live with the buzz, but if it's an easy yet more importantly cheap fix, I am all for it!....any info on flasher switch would be greatly appreciated!
auditech79 said if the noise went away with turn signals on then it would probably be your flasher switch....it has nothing to do with any of what was listed above....if anyone has any info on flasher switch replacement it would be greatly appreciated!

The flasher switch is easy to replace, you removed the radio then pop off the trim over around the
flasher switch. Pry the flasher switch out with a flat headscrewdriver and replace it. NOTE!!!!
if you plug in the new flasher switch and it still buzzes remove it as fast as possible so it wont' get damaged, if it still buzzes after replacing the flasher switch your turn signal switchis bad and will trash the flasher switch in a hurry. Replace the turn signal switch if that happens.
