arif, you probably won't like it with no resonator on there...i have a 12v, and when i got my new muffler i removed the resonator at the same time...it was WAY loud with major fart can noise at anything above 2.5k RPMs...i let my car sit until the next monday (had it done on a saturday) because i was embarrassed at how ghetto it sounded. had em put the resonator back on and now it sounds perfect. resonators are crucial on our cars.

 

yea we tested my set up without the resonator and it sounded way to jap crap for me.. wouldnt have been able to leave the garage with it like that without taking off all the audi symbols..

 

Yea you will hate it with no resonator...u'll gouge your ears out on the highway. What i did was keep my borla, and build a 3"downpipe that goes to a 3" ves dump valve. Couldnt be happier. Quiet and good sounding untill u get into boost...then it's loud as all hell
