I have a 96 a4 with the digital climate control, I dont know if it was standard on all models or not, but thats besides the case. It is filled with refrigerant, and worked great all summer until a couple of days ago when it just stopped working. My lights and everything on my display still work, the compressor kicks on, and the lines are very cold. It is still full of fluid. If I set it on low or 63 or so, it still blows out hot air. Has anyone else had a similar problem? I am trying to figure out if it is the whole digital controller in the dash, or if it is the gate that switches the heat and a/c back and forth. If someone could show me how to manually switch the heat and a/c valve back and forth and where it is located that would be great. Thanks guys.
