just wondering about the 1.8t owners that live in cali who have upgraded turbo setups and other fast mods, how does ur car pass smog? i am 12v fwd owner w/ 1.8t dreams and dont want to get my hopes up for something that i wont be able to drive legally on the streets. my goal 1.8tqm - and hopefully 300crank hp (damn sti's are too expensive and wouldnt even think of an audi being capable of keeping up/ beating them) anywho, legality (if thats a word) is first then i will worry about how the **** im going to handle the money situation on $400/wk paycheck and a >$5000 97 2.8

haha i just got it in the mail, bout to get painted w/ the bumper, but my plan is to sell this p.o.s and get a all new 1.8tq

 

lol good choice. tho i wouldn't call it a p.o.s. a 12v v6 is the last audi i would ever buy. must suck to have to deal with emissions. I love Florida.
