I was just in my garage looking at how ugly my suspension is right now and then I noticed that on the front there is a large peice of metal that is part of the suspension above the wheels about an inch. How would these not rub when I lower it? Here are the pics to show you what I'm talking about.

Im riding on stock sport package suspension. With stock 17's it was a bit stiff and when I went to 19's you would think it would be rougher. What I have learned with our heavy cars is that since they are heavy tire size doesent make a huge difference as if you were in a light car like a Honda or RX7 or something in that nature.

If you must go after mkt and want to retain a good ride I would opt for the STaSiS coil over kit. Its smoother than my stock sport susp. (finally rode in one) and its adjustable. Comes at a price though.

You can also go with Eibach street springs and your ride will still be good.

Honestly, that metal thing is part of your suspension and it moves up and down with the suspension. Your tire can be 1" away and will never hit that thing. Tire go up that thing go up. Tire go down, that thing go down.

Feel me?

Sydeshow,
Those wheels are 19s and you have the factory sport suspension? I wanted to put 19s on mine with sports suspension but I thought I was going to have to lower it so I decided against it. But if yours is sport and those are 19s I think I might reconsider.

I understand that the metal piece is part of my suspension and that it moves up and down with the rest of it, i'm talking about when I lower it cuz that' metal part is going to hit the tire
