i heard that if u chip your car that it can wear out your car sooner, that whenever u mess with the cars ecu it makes the engine work harder. is this true?

I doubt it. The chip isn't really taxing the engine very much at all. The basic engine is the same as that in the TT and that's running a K04 turbo,bigger injectors and pushing more hp than a chip. From all I've read, the 1.8t is a strong little engine.

 

Not really, reliabilty will be the same till you go bigger turbo.Ever since i upgraded, it hasnt been great. You have to pay to play.
