Can I put different sized tires on my Quattro??
Hey guys,
I have a '99 2.8 Quattro....
Im looking at a pair of 19" wheels which a friend of mine had on his FWD A4....
The front tires are slightly larger in diameter than the rear tires... Will this affect the AWD performance?? Will there be any sort of noticable difference??? Will it cause any problems???
Here are the tire sizes...
-235/35/19
-265-30-19
I know the -overall diameter difference is .22 inches
-circumference difference is .68 inches
-revs per mile difference is 7.11 ( this is the part that scares me)
Any information will help... thanks everyone

You should run the same size tires all around on a quattro. If you're running a staggered setup, you want to ensure that the circumference is the same on both the front and rear tires.
