If they told you what they were replacing, each time before doing the job, you have no case. They'll say in our opion we thought this would fix the problem. In the future get the codes and post them in this forum.

p1128 and p1136

ive posted them time and time again. checked all hoses. no leaks. no vaccum leaks. could a faulty cat be the problem?
When i reset the comp, the turbo will spin but the car will not go anywhere... it starts to stutter realllly bad. then after a day of driving, it goes into limp mode. Turbo doesnt even spin. Plus it takes 20 seconds of turning the key to get it to turn on.

It could be the O2 sensor being you're getting rich and lean codes. The O2 codes are from P1101 to P1110, which are just above in the charts, from your codes.

so no air/vacuum/exhaust leaks then, next things are leaky injectors dragging air in/ fuel pump and fuel pressure- injectors first though because its the most common you can buy new O-ring seals for them

how do you figure, the whole point of taking it to a professional is that they're most likely figure out the problem the first time, if not then second time around....anyone can sit here and post possible fixes as we do on this forum... but audi mechanics should be better than us and should be able to pinpoint problems....stealership started simple with hoses, then went to coils, then to a $600 camshaft oil leak, to a fried ecu, then back to simple with the MAF...there's something wrong with that...

the problem with that answer is you think Audi techs are gods when they are just auto techs who can only work on Audi and if you have the right tools then I would go with that but in most cases they don't and farm the work out to other garages who are nothing to do with Audi but have the tools, its quite normal in the auto trade I do it all the time (tools cost lots) so we use others who specialise in those systems Audi don't make every component on their cars you know

Another thing That I have not seen mentioned yet... is why on earth are you doing to dealer? Find yourself a good reliable, honest European Mechanic Shop & stick with them.

Im not gonna just go in and say im suing. im not like that. but i will talk to the service manager and flat out ask him why they havent been able to fix the problem if they are certified audi techs? i mean, if i was a tech, i would try something, if it didnt work, id go to something else. its just like they are guessing. This is a new facility they are at too. lots of techs, new lifts and everything. its a nice audi dealership. I just dont understand. Ive have tried two other european places and they are even worse. You would think that being in cincinnati, aka german central, there would be some good techs. i just havent found them.

Oh well. i filed a complaint with the BBB so we will see what happens with that.

i dont think or never said audi techs are gods....but its a little odd when they tell you that your ecu is fried..then when that doesnt fix the problem say its the MAF...think of the difference in how your car would act if your ecu was fried or bad MAF...
