CANNOT BELIEVE THIS!!!
LOL... you've broken TWO of these?Looks like it sheared at the mounting points. Are you torquing the hell out of it and overstressing the bracket?
MAN..... [sm=hail.gif] 12v torque monster. LOL.

Ok the first time, i baught the car like that i didnt break it the first time lol....And i have 192HP with only 181ft-lb or something like that to the front wheels...i have to look at my dyno paper i dont remember excalty but that shouldnt break it, the only reason why it broke was because my engine had some "play" when its not suppost to and my dumb *** just had to take it to its limit...
And ok here i go, its not all amazing how i broke it but...It was a Saturday night, its time for the "races"
here in Dallas, TX, and well i had just got my muffler removed because i was going to buy another one from my friend, his old muffler "APC" from his 98 Audi A4 1.8T. As i was driving to the first race spot, this "Dodge ram Rumble Bee" pulled next to me and did that little throttle pop to tell me he wants to go...so i downshifted to 3rd rpms are at about 3400, he beeps and once I hit it my car jumped more then it used to so that scard the **** out of me but i kept going thinking maybe my car just hit harder then normal, i let off after i hit about 87mph ( only went 40mph to 87mph ) right when i let off i noticed a noise infront of my car so once the ram passed me ( because i whipped his *** ) he gave me the thumbs up and i pulled over in a empty parking lot and noticed the lower engine cover or guard or skid pad or whatever you call it was off in the front but still screwed on in the back. I though ok maybe it just fell off and i lost my screws it can be replaced, but when i started to put it back on i noticed something red in the distance and so i go for it and what do i pull out...My whole freakin mounting bracket so i was like HOLY SH*T!!...I also though I had a major oil leak also, because there was wet oil all around it but later found out it was just oil on my skid pad ( yes i have a tiny little oil leak from the gasket and it collects on the pad ).
So thats my story, i had to make it exciting because it really wasent lol now yall know, go ahead and make fun of me
lol but atleast i whipped *** doing it
. Im in the process of geting a new custom exhaust with no cats, but now thats held back because of this crap lol

I did the same thing on my B6 1.8t fwd. broke the bracket clean off and I'm only at 168.8 hp and 207.9 tq. I couldn't believe it either. I think they need to make those brackets a little stronger or make them out of steel instead of the weak aluminum. I wouldn't complain if that little thing was a little heavier as long as it was stronger!! It'snot like Audi's are light to begin with. LOL!

. and also i didnt mean 192HP I ment 182, my bad :SAs for "did we miss the anti-freeze bottle?" no, when we took off the front support we unhooked a hose and a sh*t load of it came out, and we did that while we were draining it, but it was just some left over in the hose. Then i took the picture while we waited for it to finish draining.
For the HP in the 12v, its not hard at all. Since they dont make many parts for our cars im gonna describe parts to you that dont add any HP at all but i have to mention it like they do because they dont make any MAJOR parts for our cars so i cant say OHH I GOT HEADERS!!! 70HP!!

anyways this is my parts list
- Nology Red high spark plug wires
- HKS Super-fine spark plugs
- ECS Lightweight Crank Pulley & Power steering pulley
- Custom Intake
- Custom Exhaust ( With only 1 cataylitic converter & APC muffler, remove both stock ones, the passenger side o2 can be removed without giving codes... ) "IDK how much this will add because im in the process of doing this myself" But i had custom exhaust with the 2 stock cats on there already 2.5 inch piping with my old muffler from eBay!

- Jet Performance ECU ( not a new ecu, they will edit your old one and that will give you an extra BOOST in HP for $399.99 I have not tried any other company's because Jet is the only company i know who will edit 96 Audi A4 ECUs lol )
- RC injectors
- Unorthodox Racing Alumium Flywheel
Jet is what will add all your power unless you go all out like im doing...
Trust me i was surprised when i got the readout, id have to find my dyno sheet and post...im going to dyno again after i get this new exhaust done, and my custom headers made with downpipe...
Basically what im saying is, theres plenty of stuff you could do, it will just cost more money because most of it will have to be custom work
THIS IS A PICTURE OF THE FIRST TIME THAT THE MOUNT WAS BROKE
