Of god B7's have all sorts of random problems, injector shorts, intake adjusting motors (more common on A3) going bad, ecm failures, window regulator failures, radio reception problems, water leaks, oil filter housing leaks but those are usually caused by the hack *** technician.

I honestly think they put the phone jack in there because one of the engineers wanted it there cause it was very "vorsprung" of them. They actually don't have any repair information on elsa web for it so basically its worthless. The new A6 is pretty bitchin though cause you can call people by voice command by just having your blue tooth phone in the car. Super nice......[8D]

overengineered cars tend to have some issues.

also the techs like to beat on them a bit as well and curse alot hell i help with instnalls somtimes too just because its so ghey.

so if its ever broke weird its because someone maybe beat it to **** lol..

or i love this line " itl work for now"

but i love the cars and thats that.

Ok, so today I lost a BUNCH of coolant. Here is a pic from where I parked my car today for class. I was gone about 4 hours and this all leaked out!

I looked under the car and it seems to be coming from the passenger side of the car. So around the turbo maybe. The drips are coming off of the front diff. on the passenger side as well. I can't see anything from the top. Any ideas on whats on that side? This is really starting to make me mad. I have gone through half a tank of coolant now since yesterday afternoon.

Could it be a coolant line for the turbo? I'd check that.

Sounds like it running from the bottom of the coolant flange and rolling along the back of the head and dumping it out on the passenger's side. Thats usually where it leaks when the flange is leaking cause the cylinder head is tilted to the passenger's side. Get a little mirror and a light and look back there, if it is the good news the part isn't expensive, the bad news is...you guessed it its PITA time.
