Default Canvas top in winter

I am looking to buy a convertible 2004 A4. I never owned an audi nor a convertible before...~

Tha A4 I am looking at has a canvas retractable top. is the canvas top snow resistant? Can I park it outside in winter and be able to scrap snow off of the canvas top? is there a special protective cover I will need for it so it does not get dmaged in winter? or do I need to get the house with the garage first before I own one of this...~???

Thanks in advance.

just like and soft top convertable, they are water proof unless you got a defected oen that leaks at the joints, but they normaly don't unless theya re 20 years old lol, and in winter you'll be fine, it wi,l be a bit colder, and you wont' be able to say scrape the snow off th fabric, but you will deff be able to brush it off.
