I have a problem my car bogs under high boost at low rpms. if im at 4k and gun it the boost is fine and spikes at 23psi. If i floor it from a dead stop the boost starts going crazy and jumping from 10 to 20 and jerks the car like crazy and makes loud popping sounds. It only bogs at low rpms when you floor it. If I ease onto the pedal its fine. I have an MBC and noticed if I turn the boost down to say 15psi its never bogs.

 

I would guess you need a different n75 valve or possibly a bad vaccume hose or a bad hose running to the n75 valve.

does anyone know if PC-16 was tuned for 91 or 93 octane

 

hmm...i think 91...well...im hoping for 91, cuz i can't get 93 here and im getting my pc-16 file next weekend.

 

thank you i think i may have figured this out now since ive been running 93 i thinks its running ray rich causing the bog down

have all the supporting mods and got new o2 sensors when the new K04 went in 3 weeks ago. Fuel filter is still the original but if it were the filter I would be running lean not rich. and the backfires only happen when the car bogs at low rpms and then it starts to buck lke crazy until i let off the gas

 

like i said if i turn the boost down or ease on the pedal the car does not bog

 

My bogs too, but its mainly when i accelerate and hold it at 3-10 psi it holds the boost but gives a noticeable kick lick its unhappy. Just traffic driving, its really stupid actually.
