I searched to see if I can get anything about car pc's in this forum but couldn't find much and I had a few questions if you guys are familiar or know about them... I was thinking of getting a Lilliput or a mini-mac in my car butI don't get a few things that are involved, I don't get how to power the computer and will I have to turn it off and on everytime I turn my car on or off manually? Also, how do I get the soundfrom the computer to the speakers and my amp and subs? Is this a good idea or am I looking into trouble?

Have you checked out the mp3car.com site? There are several threads regarding this exact dilemma and a whole section that deals with power supplies and different ways people have set theirs up to use toggle switches etc. like this thread. They have all sorts of amazing posts about how to hook up p.c.s and macs as well as a shop in case you want to just buy a system or need parts for your own project like touch screen lcds and the doo dads to make your computer a giant nerd . In the gallery i think there is an A3 with a mac mini installed and i believe there were articles on it too in a couple of different magazines and on some of the apple sites. Anyway, hope this helps.
