i think my car is runnign rich because my dad said when I left today..there was alot of smoke and it smelt like alot of gas. How can i make the car run leaner?

 

I would start out by getting it read for any fault codes, if you are in fact running rich you should have some sort of code stored or pending. Bring it to autozone or find someone with a vagcom. Then you can go from there no use in guessing and replacing stuff that doesn't need to be replaced

 

How old are your oxygen sensors?
