Which car sounds better for the money?
1. 2002 Audi A4 3.0L Automatic 31,000 miles (looks good condition) Drives like new for $24,000 -Previously owned and driven.
2. 2004 Audi A4 3.0L Automatic 8,900 miles (looks like new) Drives like new for $32,000 -Previously used as a loaner car for the dealer.
Which one should i look into. Money is an issue but not as much as reliability. Is it worth the extra money for the 2004 modle?

31,000 miles for an 02 is a ton of miles! yet i would be leary of a loaner car, most people treat them like ****. any warrenty with either of them? both will be very reliable i would think.
Both are certified pre-owned.. and warrenty is covered untill 50,000 miles and an additional 50,000 miles or untill 2008 or somthing pretty cool like that. so warrenty is great.
Just is the price worth it? Both are "Black and Tan" which is what i want and i dont see much differences between both.
The 2004 is cleaner but the dealer was going to completely detail the 2002 A4

31,00 miles is nothing for an 02...the consumer average is 15k/yr...besides if its under warranty has everything you want...then put the 8 grand aside and you'll be in great shape for all maintenance and repairs the warranty won't cover and be able to upgrade...

I think Seabass said it the best, and if you do get the mod bug, even though the 3.0 isnt as upgradeable ull be happy u had the extra 8k laying around.
Yep, basically you're paying 8 grand for an extra 20K of warranty... I'd just buy the cheaper one, and drive it till 100K when your warranty runs out... then sell it. If maintenance is a concern for you, just keep buying slightly used (but certified) and dump them after their warranty is up. These certified used cars have better than new warranties... and you save like 40% off the price of a new car. 'tis a no brainer!
