mechanic also said that its reving high????

i checked for error codes and it says its running rich, any suggestions?

 

Maybe a bad MAF?

 

nah maf is fine tested it with vag, g/s values are perfect

 

what was the code??? running rich could be anything

 

adaptation limit exceeded no one knows what it means so i didnt post it bcuz it scares ppl from replying suggestions...

im thinking of changing the rev on idle using vag-com i did it on my other audi ages ago cant rememz how, it was something with a range 125-136 or something that adjusts how high the needle is when its idling anyone know how to do that?

 

only thing that comes to mind is the throttle stop screw to raise or lower the idle, you seem to have a low idle problem and this could be the cure

 

oppps I meant high rev problem so you need to lower it with that screw

 

yeah i hope so but does anyone remember how to do it with vag?

 

throttle position would be the correct name for it but no idea how to reset it with VAG sorry mate
