Car wont start after rebuild
Ok, its been about 3 months now that my car has been inactive maybe less. Everything is hooked up, tried to start and nothing. Took out first spark plug and there is no sign of fuel. I had the fuel pump fuse out before so i could crank it without starting it. Any advice would be helpful.
typically gas can last 5-6 months. i used to race motocross. our fuel would be fine for that period of time. motors might react different, but it will still fire up to six months after purchase. and yes i did use just standard 91 pump gas in our stock equip.
Sorry, its been about month and a half. Pulled the spark plug, sparks nice blue right when it should at the timing interval. Im trying to figure out if it is the fuel pump. But i never remember hearing the fuel pump on start up before, and i dont hear it now. I opened up the fuel line to the injectors, and there was plenty of fuel, but that could have been left over.
Oh and rebuild since i had a bad misfire and 120 or something compression on cylinder one. Didnt get a chance to do the bottom end but at this rate im glad its over.
Also, if anyone has a picture or schematic of their fuses by the steering wheel that would be great, Im not sure if i put the fuse back in the right place but im pretty sure its right. Would make sense if there is no fuel, but i dont remember what the fuse controlled, fuel pump or the injectors. Process of elimination i guess, i have till tomorrow to start working on this again, battery is really weak.
