Yeah, it looks great on black, if i put a carbon hood on my white car, i would have ricer stickers put all over it by my friends.

 

awetuning was an example of an expensive hood.

 

hey black991.8tq I don't see any hood pins in you sig I was looking at getting a CF hood but I hate the look of hood pins

 

note his sig saying that there's one mod missing-- the hood

 

I was under the assumption that his sig has the carbon hood on already.

 

yes my sig dose have the cf hood on already.........i left it out in my list of mods in my sig. clconversion...no i do not have hood pins . the hood latches fine and i have never had a problem wit it

 

really haven't you heard the nightm,ares about people having the hoods poping up on them

 

If you get the CF hood just don't get a cheap one..you get what you pay for! And remember, its aftermarket so don't bet everything that it'll fit perfectly..chances are it'd fit pretty well. My Tsunami front/rear on my Honda fit excellent.

 

a buddy of mine, has a silver car, and he put a Silver CF hood on it.. looks sweet..

 

the difference between a cheap hood and a goood hood
u have to look at the quality and grade of the hood
most hoods u see will be grade A, the highest is grade AA
cheap hoods will most likely fade and turn yellow on ya
and cheap hoods usally havve a blemish on the weave

but anyways most hoods are made in china and taiwan now so much hoods suck now a days
and i do recommend getting hood pins or locks
