I been thinking about getting a carbon fiber hood.. I think it would look good on my silver B6 with the wheels that i have being a hypersilver color..

What do you guys think ?

painted, it would look good IMO, if you just leave it dry I'm not to sure. the dry carbon look on a bright colored car is not my favorite but it looks decent on silver cars. Have somebody PS it for you and see what it's gonna look like

 

its all personal opinion. Most people that dont like them arecuz they give the car a "ricer" look. Others like them cuz they feel it gives the car a more aggressive look. You wont please everyone, but if you do get it...there are going to be people that think you made the right choice and that it looks badass.

 

ps...i just saw a silver b6 with a CF hood, and it made me contemplate getting one for my B6 cuz i liked it

so I googled, it and I kinda like the silver and dry carbon look. honestly though do whatever you want.

just google a silver carbonfiber hood they are becoming kinda popular i see them online a lotnow

 

You can paint over the carbon, either do a candy so they weave shows through or you can just cover it straight up and nobody will ever know you have a CF hood (until they race you since it gives you like 500HP+)

 

I took mine off, all the extra horsepower it gave me made me worry about my tip tranny handling it.

serously tho, i think the graphite CF is hot, but silver CF on a silver car might be pretty sexy.
