I have talked to a bunch of performance shops about this intake and it Looks cool, but acutall hurts your performance b/c it pulls hot air from the engine compartment rather than the stock intake that pulls from the front grille. In my opinion it is not worth it.
Yep, not only this intake but all intakes for the A4, but if you duct air to it then you can see increases. Or Make a custom intake like i am. I have the EVO MS intake and im going to make piping to go down to the front lower grill and have it there, but i gotta reasearch a way to make it so water doesn't get in there. Or fabricate a way to use one of the AEM things they make for there intake so water doesn't make it all the way through the intake.

i was reading that i can put something like a supercharged (electronic powered) on the intake, and it works better, waht do you think about it ?

wrong dude hot air before a turbo has no effect because you have an intercooler. you can pull as much hot air as you want. it doesnt matter if the air going into the turbo is -30 or 1500 because it goes through the turbo and the turbo heats the air to 1600. so yes you will see power gains from open air filters. but that big bulky carbojn fiber thing is just to bulky to work

you dont have to fabricate anything for the AEM bypass. all you need to do is cut the pipe and peice it together. and putting a filter in the bumper will hurt your performance because of all the twists and turns you have to take. If you had a V6 you would see gains.

doesnt work. at the velocity your turbo pulls air in the fan blades will create a blockage of airflow the same way the exhaust turbine makes backpressure at full boost.

in mexico the new a4 b6 (2005 not b7 in mexico) has 190 hp, and i saw that the only difference for the 20 hp (170 to 190) is the second intercooler, is that true ?
