I have started to notice that my car has become a little harder to handle. This happens alot at highway speeds and sometimes at speeds are 45 -50. It will jsutr start pulling side to side. Is this just me and i need to hold the wheel tighter or what?

 

your alignment might be off

 

You should be able to drive in a straight line without holding the wheel (granting a flat road). Like panda said, have your alignment checked. Have you recently had your tires rotated?

no i havent hit a curb and i am the only person to drive my car and the car doesn't pull to the same side all the time. When do u usually need new control arms?

 

No predetermined time frame. They can go bad after 40k miles or they can last 150k miles. Go get your car inspected and possibly get an alignment like Panda said.

 

check your tire pressure

 

a screw it your car is dead buy a new one. just kidding. probably an alignment/tire issue nothing major.

 

so chances are its just alignment not the control arms?

 

There is no way for us to diagnose this...have it looked at.
