CD Player sucks.
My symphony cd player in my 01 blows. For some reason it wont play cd's normally. occasionally they will work, other times they will not. it will repeat songs randomly, skip tracks, put up error codes, etc. other burned disks work fine. Today, i put a cd in and it showed up ERR1. took it out and put it back in and it worked. skipped a ffew tracks and all the usual crap. Anyone else ran into this with theirs? its been this way since i got it i just never did anything about it.
Mine did the same **** tried cleaning it and all kind of stuff with no luck soooo I pulled it out and threw it into a block wall..............Now I have Serious 500$ life time no bill
My 01 CD player is like that too with some burned CDs. Could it be possilbly that some of your CDs aren't finalized when you are finished burning them causing the errors? I think that's the reason some of my CDs don't work well on mine.
Yeah, my 01 cd player is like that too. (thats my in-dash, I don't have a changer running)
I've found its only a problem on A) longer car trips, like 3-6 hours, and B) when using burned CDs. The burned CDs would always start crapping out around track 6 or 7, and then they were really hot when I ejected them. The CDs I used to burn them were really old, so I'm gonna make new copies on some newer blank discs and hope that solves the problem.
Is the heat normal? Defintely was pissed off when all my CDs decided to stop playing at 2:00 a.m. on the PA Tunpike...
