CEl and AIR BAG light
OK gurus you've helped me before. Did multiple searches and was able to fix AIR BAG light. VAG had drive and passenger resistence too high. Unplugged both connections under seats and put on small amount of dielectic grease and reset(light out).
Problem 2 CEL- VAG has Throttle body malfuntion part, and throttle body unable to reach lower limit. If Idisconnect the battery and re-connect, the CEL goes out(with VAG reset of engine codes). Then I complete a manual throttle body adaptation and the car runs fine in the drive way, but dies 50% of the time at a stop light. So I complete VAG throttle body adaptation(engine block 098), VAG reports unable/error, but then car runs perfect but the CEL is on steady and codes are present.

avant80. Sorry out of country for a while.17973throttle control(j338) Fault in basic setting p1559-35-00, 17973 throttle actuator(j388) Lower stop not reached p1565-35-00, 18147 tiptronic up switch(f189) short to ground 18141 tiptronic down switch short to ground.
Anyone thanks in advance for answers. Is it more likely to be steering wheel switch of shifter switch?
