Ok heading in to work not more then 20 mins ago I get a CEL on the freeway. No idea what it truly is guessing its just a miss fire from the low fuel grade and timing but heres the situation maybe there some insight going to get codes scanned at lunch I hope. But...

Cruise set at 65 left lane and for no reason CEL. No warning nothing car is acting normal. No over heating its a nice 80F outside atm. I recently droped in a K&N filter could that of triped it maybe?

Sorry for the rant just anoying the one time I dont have the money is when everything happens.

 

sometimes the oil on the K&N will get on the maf. get the codes and bring them here. you'll probly just need some $5 Maf cleaner.

 

Get the codes before you start worrying.

It could be something as simple as a loose gas cap.
