DTC: 16500
P-Code: P0116
Description: Engine Coolant Temp.Circ Range/Performance

... possible Coolant Temp Sensor failing

DTC: 16785
P-Code: P0401
Description: Exhaust Gas Recirc.Flow Insufficient Detected

... EGR Check valve failing most likely. Or maybe the EGR passage in the manifold is full of crud and deposits. Could also relate to a Temp Sensor failure.

DTC: 16688
P-Code: P0304
Description: Cyl.4 Misfire Detected

... this could be a lot of things. Ignition control module, plugs, coilpack...

I posted a reply to you on your thread RAM.

Plugs are simple on 1.8L... i dont know how they are on 2.8L.

Do 2.8L have coils?

Plugs/wires, ICM, ... but I dont think its the ICM, since no blinking cel or multiple misfires.. my best guess is a spark plug....

ECT (Enine coolant temp sensor) is easy on the 1.8L.. not sure on the 2.8L .. i will try to find the diagram...

have fun!

P0401 EGR valve coked up or malfunction could cause the other codes, that year has a coil pack
