Ok i have a 99 A4 5-spd and i ran an OBD scan on my car and it came up with the code P0411. I was reading around the forums on the code and i seemed to have narrowed down the problem. I just bought the car and the guy i bought it off has a CAI on it and there is an extra plastic hose that is open and im wodering if this is the problem and if so what do i do with the hose? help me please

 

your secondary air injection pump is bad. Do you have vag?

 

No i dont have a VAG all i have is the little orange Pocket Scanner.....i was reading that the pump is like $250 is that true?
