im just starting to put my short shifter in and already ran into a problem...im not sure how to remove my center console...im assuming it snaps off but im not sure where the snaps are located. its a 99 a4. any help would be appreciated.

 

you dont have to remove the center console to install the SS, on the 99 its a little tighter to work but I did it. Just have a telescoping magnet handy

 

yeah it seems like its possible...just gonna hafta be another tight spot i have to work with in this car. it doesnt end
