Well Im getting a Cf hood for my car and I'm debating wether or not to paint the sides and leave the middle CF. Does anyone have any pics of a CF hood with sides painted, preferably in silver?

 

Someone recently (within the past 30 days) poasted pics with his silver b5 all CF hood, then with the sides of the hood painted. it looked sooo nice with the sides painted. so clean and nice. loved it. ill see if i can find the poast

hood pins look better then the hood comming unlatched and flying at your face

 

y not just mount the latch on the CF hood

 

cf and fiberglass hood makers reccomend them, because they arent as torsionally strong as the metal hood, and they flex so the latch is more prone to comming undone

but ya hood pins are for safety reason
CF hoods dont crumple like stock hoods which can be dangerous
