Default cf hood

heres my situation yesterday i was stopped at a light with a liberty in front of me and it turned green they went i went they came to a sudden stopped and by time i reactedhit my brakes and my hood hit their tire and smushed the hood. i got an estimate today and i need a new hood and paint. the bill is gonna be around 1k or over. i was thinking if i get a cf hood is it possible to install it myself easily and save the extra like 500 from labor and paint.....but the major question is my car is BROWN!!! does cf go wit a brown audi

a cf hood on a brown car is pushing it...but you could definately install yourself with the helap of a friend....if it looks terrible you can always have it painted...

if you went w a set of black wheels it would prolly look pretty good....

sorry to hear about your situation!...gl!

I have a cf hood and the toughest thing was i had to drill the holes in mine and run windshield sprayer wires through it, it was very difficult. i have a black a4 so it looks descent, i dont know about brown. the point im trying to make is that it takes more time then you think to do it.

wow, brown, that sucks... the accident sucks too.. I would just go ahead and get the cf hood espcially if it's cheaper! Like it was said above, if it doesn't look good you can get it painted for a couple hundred and still come in lower than the price of the OEM one. good luck, hope it works out.
