changing foglight bulbs
yes, I searched. I even found what I was looking for, a DIY on how to change the foglight bulbs on a 99.5+ A4. too bad the post was nearly 3 years old, and the link to the DIY was no longer valid.
so yeah, one of my foglight bulbs is burnt out and it's bugging the sh*t out of me. so I picked up some sylvania silverstars on the way home from work today. took a look in my owner's manual, and this is what it says for foglight bulb replacement:
"We recommend that you have your authorized Audi dealer replace burned-out fog light bulbs."
yeah, I'll get right on that. thanks a lot audi. [:'(]
so help me out here, how the hell do you do this? a link to a good DIY would be muchly appreciated.

You gotta pull out the side grill girll(pops out-there is like 2 clips) just play with it. Once you get that out you can just pull out the whole foglight housing-it is a tight fit so your gunna have to play with it. Then you un-twist the back end of the housing and you can get at the bulb. real easy to do..
You need a philips screwdriver and a little patience.
First, pop the mini-grille housing off. There are three screws holding the fog light assembly, so, unscrew them. Then, the housing will come straight out, and you can unplug it from the back. There is a little tab holding the plug on, so don't break it off. Then, the whole thing twists about a quarter turn and you can see the light bulb, pop it out, and reverse procedure to put it all back together!
