ok terrible question, but I have a burned out bulb and cannot for the life of me figure out how to take that panel off to replace it in the trunk... Has some weird looking screw holding it in. How do I go about this??

Also, I put new wipers on to realize that i cant put that wind deflector thing on the bosch replacements, should I have just baught my wipers through the dealer, or is that piece not really nessicary?

ok lol... figured it out, very simple.... *slaps self* anyway heres the thing... the bulb isnt burned out, it never had a bulb in that spot, but the left side does. Looks like the hole was never cut out for the bulb to fit.... odd? this is the rear lights that come on when the fog lights are turned on.

 

i believe that there is only one for the rear fogs. that is the way that the B5s are anyway.

 

The new owners video makes mention of the single rear fog lamp. I always though it was kind of wierd myself.

 

omg.... thats just weird. I spent like an hour taking that thing off and trying to find the correct bulb to fit in there hahaha!!! wow dont i look dumb...

I was like well, lets compare the 2 sides, so i go through and pull the other side apart and sure enough there it is, so i try it on the other side... wouldnt fit...

HAHA oh well. silly germans...

btw on that wiper, what is the deal with that deflecter looking thing, will i miss it?? I mean I saved like 8 bucks getting the bosch wipers, but if its gonna mess something up i will get the stock ones back...

Maybe I am being too picky with my new car

 

What year is you A4? Mine is a 97' so any deflector it may have had is long gone. Consequently, i never had it to miss it.
