Work that I have done: Guted out CAT. Cut exhaust 7in from resonator. Autozone pipe. No muffler. $30. Sounds like crap But I gota say. WOW! Exhaust alone makes a world of diffrence! Saw 11psi in 4th at
3 1/2k rpm.
BTW I dont have emissions in my county [sm=wootwoot.gif].

I dont even want to see pics of this. What is the point anyway? I can understand the gutted cat, but why cut the exhaust 7 inches from the resonator? Why not have a muffler? Why start a thread about a hack job exhaust setup? Huh?

the turbo causes enough backpressure, sometimes to much.

 

im on about the vortex the exhaust will give under pressure ( turbulence in the system ) which causes excess back pressure

 

strait pipe and no baffles/silencers/mufflers that's ok for rally cars with a short life engine wise
