Default cheapest coilovers new online?

besides the classifieds, im looking for a new set of coils for my fwd. i really dont have much to spend. the cheapest i've found are the d2 racing coils for around 1k. im not too worried with the brand as long as it can slam my car

Check these out:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KSPOR...mZ290157578599

Someone here on AF got them a while back, said the seller accepted his Best Offer of $800. I've heard nothing but good about them!

Probably the reason we haven't heard about them is because most of us have quattro, and those aren't available forB5 A4s withquattro. It says "coming in early 2007", but it's almost 2008 andthe option to order them is not there! WTF! [:@]

30-65mm is that really enough to slam my car and have no wheel gap?

Stassis Motorsports has a cheaper C/O setup...I think they are in the $1k range...then they have the more expensive ones, but when I drop my car, it's gonna be Stassis...pretty much guaranteed happiness

i kno coilovers are far superior to just springs but if your just looking for the drop y not do it? and how bad would the car handle with just springs? cause i was looking into a drop but i dont have the money to go full coilovers.
