Default Cheapest way to run 13 anything

I just bought my car- 00a41.8tq. and incredibly dissapointed with the power. It litterally has nothing at all. What is the cheapest way to get some decent power. My last car was running low 14s, I want to feel some kind of rush again. Do I have to get a new turbo to get low 14s/13anything? Id rather chip, ex, intake, dv, susp, ect. Also has anyone heard what to expect out of one of those neuspeed turbo kits? seam cheap enough and come with a chip..? that or trade in for a WRX for some power satisfaction.

NAAWS YO[sm=nxsmile.gif]

lol but seriously go BT and i guarantee you wont be disappointed with the car anymore. if you just do chip, exhaust, blah blah blah, you'll be impressed with the power gains but you'll most likely get tired of it quick. regardless A4's really aren't quarter horses like american muscle is or anything. the joy in this car comes from highway racing and going through twisties. go autocrossing in the car instead of the 1/4 mile. you might just really like it.

o i also noticed you didn't list if the car was a manual or not. if its auto the only bigger turbo you'll be able to run is the k04 with basic programming

you really should have reserched these cars...they wont light the quarter mile on fire, they weigh 3500 lbs and have 150 horses ...what the hell were you expecting ?

This car was never meant to be a straight line beast.

Its got a good blend of power, handling, braking, and luxury and is a blast to drive.

If you strictly want 1/4 times, you should have bought another car.

That being said, there are a4's that run in the tens, so anything is possible.

Since you are DBW, you are limited to probably a k04 setup because of the drive by wire, so you will never get your particualr car that fast. About mid 13's is probably about the best you will do with your car.

Dont believe the 10 sec 1/4??? Check out http://www.tappauto.com/project.cfm?ProjectID=15

13s-14s. I use these terms to give an idea for feel of power wanted. I race sportbikes and dont care to ever 1/4 mile this car, it wont give me any pleasure or thrill. but I want it to "feel" like my last one if not better. Im talking like on the highway, etc. rally, im sure its fun but not my thing, dont have the money for that. But im trying to determine how much im paying to get power/acceleration that is really not even 'fast' but tolarable.

What did you drive before?

Why did you get rid of it and buy an audi? Just curious.

Well, its not a drag car, but the a4 is a great all around vehicle as far as I am concerned.

I had a 94 Celica GT w/ 3SGTE motor-top mount intercooler-w/ hoodscoop-exhaust, intake, blitz bov. About it. 9lbs boost. I got a 04 ZX6RR and gave up on cars for a bit. I bought this for the (luxury interior and name, turbo feel, awd, w/a body kit looks decent) and a car I might have potentially wanted to keep for a long time.
