ok so my check engine light came on tonight. When i started the car it sounded like the idle was messed up like it wanted to stall. Dose anyone have any ideas of what could be wrong from the info i gave. thanks alot

It's better if you run a leak test w/o the car running so you can hear them. Search 'vac leak test' there should be a write up or two out there it's fairly common it the turbo world.

 

Check the connections for your mass airflow sensor. If its all connected and fine then Get the error codes from your car. You might need to get a new MAF.

 

Good point! Pull some codes first that is very easy.

 

Go to autozone and have the codes pulled and post them back here.

 

so my car dosnt have any power so i put it on my trailer and took it to autozone and the code is po302 it is cilinder 2 misfire. So iam guessing i need to coil packs, plugs and maybe new injectors. If so would anyone suggest getting 4 all new ones thanks

 

Try swapping the coil with another to see if the problem moves. If not, do the same with the spark plugs.

 

a couple of choices here P0302 = misfire detected on cylinder 2 problems could be engine mechanical fault, ignition/fuel system, injector leaking, ECT/MAF sensor, ECM im going for the coil pack
