i wouldnt buy 4 of them. Try swapping the cyl 2 coil pack with cyl. 1 and see if you get a cyl 1 missfire code.. If that happens, that coil pack is bad and you should replace it. No need to start fixing things that arent broken. If you dont know when the plugs have been replaced, do them for sure, and its very rare with these cars that the injectors go bad, but you never know. Invest in vag com or a code reader to eliminate putting your car on a trailer just to get the codes.

Misfire in #2 is common symptom of a bad Ignition control module.

Rule out the coil pack, plug, and injector, then replace ICM.

(rule out injector if plug has gas on it and not firing).

Why replace them if they are not the problem?????????

Test by swapping #1 and #2 and see if it follows the coilpack.

So, in short, NO!

Read my post about 4 up from this one!

well i replaced the plugs and a swaped the coilpack with 1 and 2 and the problem is still the same misfire in cilinder 2. Could it maybe be the MAF or another sensor

OMFG!!!!!!!!!!

DID YOU READ THE POSTS??????????????????

Sorry to yell, but its already here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From 4 posts up:

Misfire in #2 is common symptom of a bad Ignition control module.

Rule out the coil pack, plug, and injector, then replace ICM.

(rule out injector if plug has gas on it and not firing).

Since you cant scroll up, here it is again. Sounds like you need an ICM. If you have ruled out the rest, that is the cause of your misfire.
