The engine seems to be running rough and there is a definite power loss. Also, it appears that the exhaust is not juststeam since there is fresh carbon in the exhaust pipe. My car didn`t come with anan owners manaulsoI can`t figure out what the symbols mean when I hit the `Check` button. Please help.

thanks.

thanks. how do I get the codes readé as mentioned, I don;t have the manual so I don`t know where to go to hav ethis done. Is it only an Audi service center that does thisÉ I live in Canada. Also, seeing as though the Check Engine Light is blinking is it safe for me to drive it to get it diagnosed or should I get it towed somewhere. thanks.

your need and obdII scanner to scan the codes. there's a squarish port under the steering wheel by the knees that you plug it into. a local parts store near you might do it for free if they offer the service. any auto shop can do it too but they charge money. the dealership will absolutely rape you on that lol.

if it drives fine you should be ok. if it feels like it's lost alot of power and the light is blinking then you shouldn't drive it too far. and as far as warranty, i have no idea

It's a misfire. DON"T drive it far. Could be spark plugs
or ignition coils.
