I was running around today, nothing nuts, maybe 50mph tops. Along the way I started to smell something but it wasn't that bad. I assumed it was another car or something. Stopped to shop, got back in the car started it up, drove 4 miles and started to smell the smell again (kind of like a sulfur smell), the CEL comes on, and all of the sudden the engine starts to knock real bad. I pulled over and waited for my father in law to follow me home at 20-30mph.

So, did I all of the sudden blow a Cat? Any opinions?

Bad cats dont usually knock. What is the code for the cel?
