check engine light came on...car shakes
i bought this car in march and i'm having my first issue..im at 48500 miles so i am barely within warranty limits
when each gear has low RPMs, the car shakes as if it's gonna die on me....when the RPMs get higher it runs smooth; then i go to the next gear and i have the same issue...
i put 91 gas, so it's not that the gas is $hitty...if the clutch starts to die on me, THE CHECK ENGINE light wouldnt go on (i think)...any suggestions?

Can you clairify this statement: "i put 91 gas, so it's not that the gas is $hitty...if the clutch starts to die on me, THE CHECK ENGINE light wouldnt go on (i think)...any suggestions".
well im trying to think what the problem may be
i use good gas, so that issue is out of the question
and if the clutch was about to die on me, the check engine light wouldnt go on....
what else can it be? the dealer said he can see the car on tuesday monring.....until then, the car may die on me

Is your clutch slipping? Have you driven a standard car before buying this one?
Try cleaning your MAF and Throttle body, get your car scanned at Autozone or someplace using a VAG-COM. Or go to the stealership as you are within warranty and they should do it free of charge.

im thinking to bring the car at the stealership in the morning (since i still have 1500 miles of warranty) and let them investigate and do their homework..
if i do it myself, maybe i'll fix it maybe i won't...and with my luck, im gonna end up having the same problem at 51000 miles...

totally agree take it in under the warranty without the codes it could be anything, 91 octane is ok for your car and wouldn't cause that issue unless it was dirty fuel with water in it
since i never brought a car under warranty in for repair, do i need to bring any paperworlk (title, proof of warranty, etc)?
or is everything on the computer anyway?
b/c to be honest with you, god knows where all my $hyt is...

Did you buy your car at the dealership? If you did then they have record of everything. If you bought it used off someone, then hopefully you have proof of warranty until 51K miles.
