I'd have to see some comparison tests to be convinced, I like the concept though.

look cool at first, but then your really limited to the aftermarket rim sizes. Imagine how hard the feeling would be with some 19" rims and 1/2" spokes ... ouch!

I will be inventing a TWEEL sidewall blanket to cover up the spokes, because it looks so awful!!!!!!

Otherwise super cool technology, if they can figure out how to make it more traditional looking.

But, still the low profile thing may not be possible either.

Maybe the grandkids will buy "tweels" someday.

They are huge in the 4x4 world. Light, no flats, no bent rims, good sigewall flex, and great low speed traction.......
