hey guys, from what ive read...different chips get different gains and have different advantages/disadvantages. all around what seems to be the best performance chip, without regard to cost, for a 1999 A4 1.8T 5 speed?

 

well most people are here like APR or GIAC, APR is known for their smooth powerband, but GIAC is known for their more agressive powerband, both are similar in price and claim around same horse power gains and have good customer service. so i'd go on both websites and just find the one that has the dealship closest to you and choose that one.

 

Chips? They have chips for our cars?

APR but I'm biased beacuse I have APR.

If u plan on doing a K04 then get a GIAC b/c they will give u some money back if u buy a K04 chip.
