hi, can anyone point me in the direction of a good quality chip that can add some power to my car? i have a 1999 A4 Avant Quattro 1.8T. any help would be appreciated. thanks..

APR by far. Thats the only place i get my aftermarket parts from and i havent ever had a problem with them.

GIAC and APR are considered by most people to be the best choices for chipping a B5 A4. from what I've heard and read, the GIAC tune has more "grunt" in the lower rpm range, and the APR has more top-end power. I think what it comes down to is which one is easier to get. which dealer is closer, and which one will give you a better price/service also comes into play in the choice.
