The stock 2.0T from what i heard isnt very good. But no need to replace it until it breaks.

It will break sooner, cause the car is chipped (higher boost pressure). The stock DV can't handle the higher pressure. I would just change it out now.

Yes but ur just pissin boost out. Not like ur car isn't gonna start or anything but ur power will be **** if it goes completely, ur fuel mileage will prob go down as you'll have ur foot 2 the floor tryin 2 get power dumpin all the fuel needed for a healthy 22lbs of boost and not burning it properly as theres not the proper amount of air gettin in.

Found one on Audizine for $200 + shipping. You can probably talk him down to $200 shipped. That is good deal. http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=175392

for crying out loud, you havent learned one damn thing in this thread. THERE.... IS.... NO... 2.0t.... APR..... DV!! Your options are Forge, Forge, Forge, or block of the stock and install any freaking kind you want somewhere else on the charge piping.

+1

your stock dv will last a long freaking time too, unlike the B5 and B6's.
